Job Summary: This position is responsible for all aspects of Assisted Living to include, but not be limited to, programming, financial responsibility, staffing, regulatory compliance, and delivery of high quality services as determined by the residents and their families. Job Qualifications: Currently licensed as an Assisted Living or Healthcare Administrator in good standing with the state of Virginia. Must meet the requirements of an Assisted Living Administrator as defined by regulation. Previous experience of three (3) to five (5) years in a supervisory capacity, or exhibited commensurate level of skills and knowledge, with a demonstrated productivity achievement level is required. Relevant skills include a thorough understanding of the emotional and social needs of residents in Assisted Living, and of the community agencies and resources available to meet their needs. A working knowledge of Assisted Living facility regulations and labor laws is necessary, as are skills in planning and organization, supervision, leadership, training and mentoring, interpersonal relationships, and superior written and oral communications. Must have current Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certification in place (or be able to obtain in a period of time determined at hire).
