Job Description

Job Summary Facility Occupational Therapy Assistant would be responsible to provide and assist residents with therapy activities/exercises delegated to them by an Occupational Therapist. Provides residents with the opportunity to improve their overall physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial well-being while utilizing proper practices and standards. Document and exchange information for each resident’s level of care and treatment plans or goals. Directly coordinate and work alongside Occupational Therapist to establish and execute plans of care that are personalized to each resident’s abilities. Follows and adheres to accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organization. As needed, performs other related duties as requested. Average Case Load: Part A (2-5) Part B (2-5) Facility Average Census: 40 of 46 Qualifications Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
