Are you a visionary leader in healthcare? We're looking for a part-time Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join our team and make a significant impact on patient care and clinical effectiveness. As the CMO, you'll work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Group Leadership, and other key stakeholders to foster strong relationships between hospital management and medical staff, while also playing a pivotal role in recruiting new physicians and driving clinical transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead with Expertise: Guide hospital quality and clinical effectiveness initiatives, and support the development of facility Chief Medical Officers.
Enhance Education: Oversee graduate medical education programs for medical students and residents, ensuring a high standard of learning and development.
Optimize Care: Evaluate and refine care management approaches, patient satisfaction, safety protocols, and resource utilization to improve overall patient care.
Foster Collaboration: Ensure the hospitalist program delivers consistent, high-quality care and lead the development of patient-centered care within the primary care network.
Data-Driven Improvement: Implement and review systems for quality and cost improvement, utilizing data to measure and enhance outcomes across various care settings.
Engage with Medical Staff: Partner with medical staff and management to facilitate teamwork, represent medical staff viewpoints, and address key concerns.
Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and counsel to executive leadership, integrating evidence-based practices into patient care delivery systems.
Support Development: Dedicate resources to developing physician leadership and implement structures that promote shared accountability and compliance.

Qualifications
Education: MD or DO degree with completed residency training and board certification. Management degree (MBA, MHA, MMM, MPH) or equivalent experience preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, proven leadership, and a deep understanding of hospital operations and quality management.
Experience: Expertise in managing and mentoring physicians, with a strong focus on quality improvement and clinical transformation.
