Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and organized Events Manager to lead our exciting event initiatives from start to finish. In this role, you will provide visionary leadership, manage budgets, and oversee the strategy and scope of various events. Your mission will be to create unforgettable brand experiences while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Leadership: Spearhead the creation, development, and execution of large-scale events, ensuring every detail contributes to meaningful experiences for both internal and external audiences. Key events include our annual User's Conference (300-500 attendees), the Super User Academy (up to 30 attendees, with 4 sessions annually), and over 15 marketing events each year, including conferences and partner engagements.
Budget Management: Develop and monitor event budgets, keeping a close eye on spending, managing variances, and negotiating with vendors to maximize resources.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong partnerships with internal teams, external vendors, and key partners, fostering open communication and seamless collaboration throughout the event planning process.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee all logistics for events, including setup, team coordination, booking accommodations and travel, collaborating with hotels and vendors, managing inventory, and preparing necessary materials to ensure every event runs smoothly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: For the annual User's Conference, act as the primary point of contact, coordinating with various teams (such as Customer Success, Inside Sales, and Marketing) and working with an event planning agency on production elements, registration systems, venue selection, on-site resources, and overall logistics.
Vendor Management: Conduct RFP processes, evaluate vendors, and negotiate contracts to secure the best services that align with our event objectives.
Presentation Skills: Prepare and deliver presentations to leadership, including project proposals, event status updates, and post-event debrief reports.
Branding and Promotion: Lead the creation of event branding, concepts, and promotional materials in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. Ensure a cohesive visual theme across all event elements, including décor, signage, giveaways, and digital assets.

Education:
A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or equivalent experience is preferred.
Work Experience:
A minimum of three years of specialized experience in corporate event planning, managing projects, and running programs.
Licensing/Certification:
PMP or CMP certification is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
Ability to stand for long periods and carry event materials (up to about 50 pounds).
Must be proficient with phone, email, and other software necessary for job performance.
Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, including overnight stays.
Availability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.
