Job Summary: As a People and Culture Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting P&C team, contributing to various initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience and fostering a positive organizational culture. This internship offers valuable exposure to the field of people management, allowing the P&C Intern to develop essential skills while making meaningful contributions to our organization's success.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of people management while working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive workplace.
Depending on the scope of work when Intern is employed, they may encounter any of the flowing during the course of their internship. Talent Acquisition Support: - Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings and sourcing candidates.
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews.
- Participate in candidate interviews and provide feedback to the hiring team.
- Help coordinate recruitment events or employer branding initiatives.
Employee Engagement and Onboarding: - Support the development and implementation of employee engagement programs.
- Assist in organizing onboarding activities and orientation sessions for new hires.
- Contribute to the creation of welcome kits and onboarding materials.
- Help facilitate feedback mechanisms to assess employee satisfaction and morale.
People Operations and Administration: - Maintain accurate employee records and databases.
- Assist in benefits administration and enrollment processes.
- Handle inquiries from employees regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support the implementation of HRIS (Human Resources Information System) or other relevant systems.
Culture and Diversity Initiatives: - Contribute to initiatives aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
- Assist in organizing cultural events, celebrations, and diversity training sessions.
- Participate in diversity recruitment efforts and outreach programs.
Special Projects and Research: - Collaborate with the People and Culture team on special projects as assigned.
- Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends in people management.
- Provide support for culture-related initiatives such as employee surveys or recognition programs.
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Needed: Currently pursuing Higher Education and or training and development in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Passionate about people management and organizational culture. Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
