Work Arrangement:

This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren three times per week, at minimum.

The Role:

As a Labor Relations Strategy Planner you will provide dedicated insight and counsel to manufacturing leaders on all labor related issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate and contribute in multiple subcommittees for Negotiations preparation to support alignment with broader bargaining strategy
  • Understand workstreams/projects that impact the LR organization and/or represented employees to be able to assist in identification of issues and/or risks
  • Partner cross-functionally with key functional stakeholders on the development of comprehensive project plans with timing, key milestones and deliverables
  • Provide project management and oversight by tracking and managing key deliverables and milestones within timeline
  • Understand business needs to ensure integration points across other areas are accounted for
  • Research external happenings with the LR space while looking ahead to potential impact on business
  • Develop materials for leadership

Minimum Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of labor relations and union expertise
  • Ability to develop proposals and timelines, across cross functional areas, track milestones, surface issues appropriately and deliver projects on-time
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Works independently, takes initiative and completes tasks with minimal supervision
  • Curiosity to dig deeper and identify root cause
  • Solves problems, analyzes issues and develops recommendations

  • 2+ years of strategic formulation and execution
