We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Legal Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, potential clients, and all that call our office and will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction : Greet clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter our office.
  • Communication : Answer and direct phone calls, manage email correspondence, and relay messages accurately and efficiently.
  • Administrative Support : Assist with scheduling appointments, maintaining client files, and managing the firm's calendar.
  • Office Management : Maintain a clean and organized reception area, manage office supplies, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
  • Community Engagement : Support the firm’s community outreach efforts by assisting with event planning, managing communications related to community initiatives, and helping to promote the firm’s involvement in local causes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience : Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a legal setting, is highly desired.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, colleagues, and community members with professionalism and empathy.
  • Organizational Skills : Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Community-Minded : A commitment to the values of social justice, equity, and community service, reflecting the mission of Bailey Law Firm.
  • Technological Proficiency : Familiarity with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to quickly learn legal practice management software.
