This is responsible public contact work in the daily operation of a Municipal Marina. Work involves leasing boat space, collecting fees, enforcing marina rules, inspecting marina facilities to ensure safe operation and proper functioning, making, or arranging for minor repairs, and providing instruction and information to patrons. Work may require working evenings and weekends and working outdoors in unfavorable weather conditions. In addition to organizational Marina duties, an employee in this class may be assigned administrative, financial, clerical duties, semi-skilled maintenance work, dock side assignments such as the operation of pump out boats and pump out stations, the cleaning of bait tanks, and coordination of special programs and events. Because of the critical responsibilities of this class, an employee in this class must be able to report to work outside of normally scheduled work hours to address urgent needs, at the discretion of management.
Salary: $17.76 - $27.15 Hourly
