Role:The primary responsibility of this position is to generate business from outside referral sources and to build and cultivate new referral relationships.
Summary of Responsibilities:+ Responsible for originating real estate mortgage loans in accordance with AZCCU’s processes and product guidelines.
+ Responsible for meeting minimum origination goals and expectations set by leadership.
+ Maintains regular contact with Realtors© in their offices and on site at open house?events. Meets with builders on job sites to discuss lending; meets with home buyers to discuss lending products and develop relationships.
+ Meet established mortgage origination goals from outside referral sources.
+ Qualify leads based on AZCCU mortgage programs.
+ Manage the individual active pipeline and provide updates to management about prospective closings.
+ Maintain a superior working knowledge of all AZCCU mortgage products and adhere to all AZCCU Mortgage Policies/Guidelines/Procedures.
+ Expected to spend a majority of time outside of office conducting business development and sales generating activities by attending community events, sales and trade meetings, and regularly calling on referral sources resulting in loan production.
Compensation:+ Base pay plus commission, variable depending on volume of closed loans.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience: Three to five years of prior MLO and outside sales experience+ Must have a thorough knowledge of all mortgage products, programs and regulatory requirements, in addition to knowledge of processing, underwriting and closing procedures.
+ Must possess the ability to grow production while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic. A self-motivated sales mindset is necessary for success.
+ National NMLS registration is required.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent. Must be or become registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator. Travel is required throughout the state of Arizona.Powered by JazzHR
