Job Description

Interim Healthcare is looking for a Nurse Administrator to support a well-known and established Continuing Care Retirement Community in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This position is responsible for providing daily oversight of the two community locations. The nursing manager provides and directs the provision of customized in home based on agency and facility policy and procedures and state mandates for a residential service agency. Benefits

Essential Functions Client Services
  • Responsible for performing client assessments in the home settings.
  • Responsible for all documentation required for the individual client and maintenance of both the EHR and hard copy charts.
  • Effectively with communicate with the CCRC team as well as the campus committees to assist in the coordination of CCRC clients.
Leadership and Management
  • Works with CCRC operations to assist in the promotion of regional marketing plan to include assistance at marketing events, networking meetings and referral source interactions as assigned.
  • Assists in the evaluation of technology and its role to the CCRC business and assists with implementation.
  • Along with Clinical Director, participates in quarterly meetings.
  • Actively participates in community events and meetings for the betterment of the clients and staff members.
  • Assists in the rotation of administrative after hours and on call supports.
Communication and Documentation
  • Interfaces with Campus Department Directors and Managers professionally and effectively utilizing techniques which build and support teams.
  • Interfaces with corporate structure as needed to assist with new product line innovation.
  • Provides oversight and maintenance of client records.
  • Keeps clinical Director informed of progress related to CCRC. business.
  • Review and Completes Clinical Record documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Must have an active RN license in VA in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
  • Must be licensed in DC Or willing to get license reciprocity.
  • Ability to collaborate with leadership team to grow and develop a home health community-based service.
  • Must be able to safely and successfully perform job related functions, with or without reasonable accommodations set forward by the federal state or local law.
  • Highly experienced in exceptional customer service to geriatric clients and ability to interact with families.
Education/Experience
  • Multi-State Licensure in Good Standing
  • 3-5 Years of Home Health experience
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience, preferably in home health.
