As a Senior Web/API Developer at Scio, you will play a crucial role in driving the technical direction of our web applications. You will mentor junior team members, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage your expertise in React, Node.js, and other web technologies to deliver innovative and scalable solutions.
You are a documentation-oriented person who values collaboration and teamwork, able to communicate with developers and report roadblocks. Also, you master both English and Spanish (written and spoken) and are always eager to learn. On a more technical side, you also have:
Extensive experience in working with React, Node.js, HTML, and CSS.
Familiarity with SQL, Analysis Services, and modern web application technologies.
Demonstrated track record of realizing web UX design as code with emphasis on responsiveness and testability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Prior experience in healthcare-related big data or data warehousing is a plus.
Technical experience in web app development: 7+ years
Experience with the React ecosystem and best practices: 5+ years
Experience with front-end/middleware (API) architecture: 4+ years
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: 5+ years
Experience with Node.js: 4+ years
Experience with SQL: 1+ year (Preferred)
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ADO, Figma, Storybook, and Git

We know your time is valuable, so know the whole process will take about 2 weeks. There will be 4 interviews total (an initial one with Human Capital, a technical skill one, one with an Account Manager, and probably one with the client at the end), possibly with a technical test, if necessary.
