Brytemove Energy is a leading provider of Electric Vehicle infrastructure engineering and construction services, focusing on the design, engineering, installation, and maintenance of Level 2 and Level 3 fast-charging stations. Founded in 2012, Brytemove serves clients including EVSPs, utilities, fleet owners, and OEMs. The company offers turnkey charging solutions, integrating solar, energy storage, and software applications through a robust network of partnerships.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sr. Estimator at brytemove energy. The Sr. Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, collaborating with project teams, evaluating subcontractor bids, and ensuring cost-efficient solutions. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to meet project deadlines. The Estimator is responsible for developing and completing estimates based on written and/or oral descriptions from project managers. Must be able to estimate based on photos.

Qualifications

• Planning, Estimating, Cost Engineering Project Activities, Scheduling, and Project Management skills
• Understanding of construction processes and electric vehicle infrastructure
• Knowledge of electrical systems and charging station technologies
• Experience with bidding processes and subcontractor negotiations
• Management of material vendor relationships, including packaging and presentation of RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs
• Ability to provide estimates based on photographs, videos, and oral descriptions
• Prepare RFQs and evaluate vendor pricing
• Understanding of electrical construction related to utility transmission through building distribution
• Understanding of power delivery, transformers, battery systems
• Understanding of engineering scopes, including electrical, structural, civil, and permitting
• Experience with design/build and Engineer, Procure, Construct (EPC)
• Experience with McCormick/Accubid software required
• Train and develop skills of estimators and or Site Assessors
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• High School diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• 7-10 years of estimating experience preferred
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPE, CEP, PMP) are a plus

Work Environment

This role involves variable work environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.

Employees must meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 pounds, working at heights, and operating various tools and equipment safely. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
