We are excited to invite a talented and experienced Senior Living Underwriter to join our dynamic team! Our company specializes in providing comprehensive insurance solutions to the specialty liability market, and we are committed to maximizing value for our policyholders through exceptional service and innovative practices.

About the Role:

As a Senior Living Underwriter, you will play a vital role in our underwriting process. Your expertise in senior living insurance will be instrumental in ensuring our clients receive the best coverage possible. You will engage in the full spectrum of underwriting activities, from processing submissions to policy binding and endorsement management.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Underwriting: Handle the entire underwriting process, including processing submissions, account underwriting, quote issuance, policy binding, endorsement management, and compliance with state and federal filings.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners, fostering effective communication to drive profitable growth.
- Attention to Detail: Execute daily underwriting tasks with precision and care to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.
- Proactive Client Engagement: Interact with agency partners and management daily to provide exceptional support and address any inquiries.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on underwriting experience specifically in the Senior Living sector.
- Proven Success: A strong track record of successful underwriting in the senior living industry.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of state and federal regulations governing senior living insurance.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Independent Work: Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and manage responsibilities effectively.
- Willingness to Travel: Occasional travel for industry events is required to support your professional development.
