Used Car Technician Responsibilities

Perform Used car Inspections to get vehicles ready to put on front lot for sale.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Shop Foreman and Used Car Manager to inform them of any needed repairs and provide them an estimate of cost of additional repairs needed.
Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Used Car Technician Qualifications

2 years experience in automotive service repair required
Strong automotive background in all areas
Strong teamwork skills
Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
Must have clean & valid driver's license
