Please do not apply to this job if you are not currently managing bathroom and kitchen home remodeling projects in Austin. You must have your own crews. We remodel homes that the customer lives in and is home.

We are a bathroom and kitchen renovation company in Austin (HalfPriceBaths.com) seeking to hire a Vice President of Construction. We do not train you. We pay you. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has been a custom home builder and who runs their own crews and deals with the customer, plus has experience with being responsible for on site management and driving revenue for the company.

You will manage the build to completion. You will introduce the crew to the customer at a pre-construction meeting that the company owner sometimes attends, which will serve as the "handoff." If you're doing your job like it was intended to be done, you will not be required to be onsite everyday. If the owner is required to meet at the jobsite after the sale and help manage the project in any capacity, you will forfeit $1000.00 of your pay for that job.

We expect you to sell 4-8 new jobs per month and your pay depends on reaching certain milestones on each project. You will earn between 2,000 per job sold and up to 3500 per project if you sell and manage the entire project start to finish. In either capacity, you will be required to deliver excellent customer service, ensure the customer pays on time, and that you receive a 5-star review.

Your income is projected to be up to 288,000 or as low as 96.000. You will pay for your own gas. You will be given a truck allowance after 90 days to buy whatever truck you want that will be wrapped in our company name. When you leave the company, you will be responsible for making your car payment. The car is in your name not the company's.

Here is how your payout breaks down: 

• 2000 for selling the job with the owner of the company required to give zero correspondence to the customer after selling the job 
• 1000 for managing the job if the job is finished on time, the customer pays in full within 24 hours of completion and that money is received into the office 
• 500 if the customer gives the company a 5 star review. 

Here is how the payout for your bathroom crews breakdown: 

• Tub to walk in shower conversion with tile shower pan wet space: 2000. Glass Kit Install 350. Dry space flooring, 35 square feet plus vanity and toilet install: 800. Max payout for small bathrooms is 3000 including everything from baseboards to paint. 
• Shower to tub conversion: 1500. Glass kit install 350
• Master bathrooms: Typical is 3000 with add ons for painting, but max payout for large master bathroom with stand alone tub from demo to plumbing to tile to carpentry work= 4000. 

We sell projects for labor only 10000-12000 to the customer. If you're not interested in this type of budget conscious customer and in this type of market, please do not apply. We know the market well. This is what customers want to pay. 

Please do not apply if you do not have previous residential construction experience in Austin as an owner of a company, or if you do not have a demonstrable, verifiable history of selling, building and remodeling custom homes. We hire slowly and fire quickly. If you are serious about your career in residential construction, have years of experience managing your own crews that trust you and like working for you, are focused on taking care of the customer, and treat the crews with kindness and respect, this could be the last job you ever need to take. You could be here for a long time and make great money working from home.
