Amentum IT is looking for a Workday Integration Engineer who will closely work with Amentum’s HR team to ensure that the primary asset of the company – people, and the data related to them is appropriately integrated for successful business outcomes. The selected candidate will work with team members in the ERP team, to ensure alignment across the three core ERP systems of the company – Workday, Costpoint, ADP .
The Workday Integration Engineer should have significant experience in Workday including integrations with other finance ERP systems. US Citizenship is required. This is a remote-telework role.
Responsibilities
+ Partners with various organizational stakeholders (HR, Accounting, Payroll), leads the work to create technology solutions to support or improve key HR processes and policies, ensuring effective integration and use of HR technologies
+ Develops business requirements and integration plans
+ Communicates system risks to key senior stakeholders
+ Suggests and develops analytics and reports, as needed
+ Works on continuously improving the user experience by applying better technology and process and making sure that the voice of the customer is reflected in proposed solutions
+ Supports change management processes as an integral part of the launch phase
+ Participates in creating recommendations for the appropriate HR platform and/or application to establish accurate reporting of HR information for the enterprise and its lines of business
+ Supports efforts to evaluate and prioritize HR technologies and projects.
+ Contributes to the research and evaluation of new and/or alternative solutions and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs
+ Prepares and delivers training, when needed
+ Helps manage and coordinate system support ticketing system and process
Required skills/experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent)
+ Minimum of 5 years IT experience managing Workday and its integration with other systems, especially from major ERP vendors
+ Mandatory experience in Workday integrations – Enterprise Interface Builder ( EIB ), Workday Studio – inbound and outbound, Cloud Connect ( PECI , CCW , CCB ).
+ Experience in Business process framework, configurable security, calculated fields, custom fields, BIRT , XML / XSLT / JSON
+ Superior communication skills with the ability to relate to both technical individuals and senior managers.
+ US Citizenship is required.
Preferred skills/experience
+ Strong familiarity with Process Improvement Methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, BPM , etc.)
+ Experience in Government Contracting
+ Experience in an environment that integrated Workday and Costpoint
+ Technical knowledge of Workday System configuration and integration. Hands on experience with Workday Studio, EIB and Core Connectors.
+ Experience working on Workday People Analytics
+ Experience working on Workday custom reports and calculated fields
+ Experience building extensions using Workday Extend
+ Knowledge of Middleware tools
+ Payroll Integration
+ Experience building extensions using Workday Extend
+ Experience working on Workday People Analytics/Prism
+ Managing complex implementations and project budgets
